Jonathan Williams University of Strathclyde and Michelle Connolly, University of Glasgow attended on behalf of MAINSTREAM, alongside colleagues from other strategic research programmes, to share work on advancing non-animal technologies, with MPs, scientists, biotech companies, NGOs and charities across the UK.
In MAINSTREAM, we are driving Human Relevant Impact through:

– Scalable GMP-compliant production of human stem cells for therapies and research.
– Enabling safer, faster, and more ethical translation of regenerative medicine.
MAINSTREAM would like to thank MP Steve Race for hosting and championing this important work to transform the UK life sciences sector.
Grateful to Celean Camp from the Alliance for Human Relevant Science for the opportunity and continued support, and to Lillie Grant at Cruelty Free International for leading this impactful event on behalf of the Alliance.
