On 12th–13th February 2026, the EPSRC MAINSTREAM Research and Partnership Hub convened its Strategic Board, bringing together partners from across the UK for two days of forward‑thinking planning and shared vision setting.
The meeting provided space to:
- Share progress updates from across the Hub’s work packages
- Review upcoming activities and Centre-wide priorities
- Strengthen alignment across academic, and industrial collaborators
- Identify opportunities to deepen interdisciplinary integration
A highlight of the meeting was a lively session led by early‑career researchers exploring new approaches to improving mesenchymal stem cell growth for cell therapies.
We look forward to reconvening again in September 2026, as the Hub continues to drive innovation, partnership, and translational impact across the sector.
