  • Michelle Connolly

    Programme Manager

    Michelle is an experienced research manager. Her expertise including leading research administration, managing calls for research funding, and the coordination of complex, multi-partner research projects and research networks. ..

    She has managed projects and networks awarded by a range funders, including the European Commission, UKRI BBSRC (via the Global Challenges Research Fund), UKRI International Capability Fund, and the Open Philanthropy Project. She has also contributed to projects awarded by UKRI MRC and the Wellcome Trust.  Michelle is Programme Manager for two major UKRI EPSRC-funded programmes: MAINSTREAM Hub and StemNiche. She oversees the strategic and operational delivery of both programmes.  In MAINSTREAM, Michelle is a member of the management team, and leads a team of research professional staff which support the operational delivery of the hub.

    Claire currently manages Phase 2 of the Mechanobiology-Based Medicine (Mechanomeds) project and collaborates closely with the College of Medicine, Veterinary and Life Sciences’ Innovation, Engagement and Enterprise team. She also serves as an Industrial Biotechnology Champion for IBIOIC.
    Within the MAINSTREAM project, Claire is a member of the management team, contributing to the operational delivery of the hub.

    Within the MAINSTREAM Hub, Monica will have a research and technology leading role.

  • Aimee Soare

    Aimee is the Interim lifETIME Coordinator based at the University of Glasgow. With a background in administrative management, she supports the day-to-day running of the lifETIME CDT and plays a key role in the operational delivery of the CDT. ..

    Aimee is also a member of the MAINSTREAM management team, working closely with colleagues, academics and PDRAs to support operational delivery of the hub.
