Join Our Patient and Public Involvement Committee

Your voice matters. Help shape research that makes a difference.

As a committee member, you will work alongside researchers, charities, and other contributors to ensure our research is relevant, understandable, and focused on what matters most to patients.

What will you do?

  • Share your views on our research plans and priorities.
  • Help us make our communications clear and accessible.
  • Ensure patient needs and concerns are considered throughout.

What’s involved?

  • Attend occasional meetings and events.
  • Review materials and give feedback.
  • Bring your insights and questions to guide meaningful research.

What support and recognition will you receive?

  • Play an active role in shaping research that addresses real patient and public needs.
  • Gain insight into cutting-edge health research and contribute your perspective.
  • Receive reimbursement for travel and payment for involvement in line with NIHR guidance.
